Oil filter wrench
Where can I get a filter wrench for my 2007 is250?
I'm looking for a good wrench and dont mind paying a little extra as I understand the ones you get at Auto Zone and the like are pretty crappy.
I changed my wifes oil for the first time and used a pipe wrench. It worked but I know it's not a good idea.

I got mine from eBay for about $20. I didn't want to spend $50 for a filter wrench and the one at Autozone was the "F" cap which was 64-67mm. It kept slipping off cause the last place to change the oil overtightened the filter. The eBay one works pretty well.

I have to find the thread that led me to it but I ordered the Assenmacher AST Toyota / Lexus Oil Filter Wrench TOY 640 / 09228-06501 - 64mm back and January for $20.24 w/ shipping.
I haven't used it yet though but hoping to this weekend. I have to change my oil filter (not the oil since it's synthetic - w/ the filter change it should last longer til I think 12kish miles). It'll be my first time attempting something like this - I have the blitz rhino ramps and the filter from sewell. have to figure out anything else I need.

I'm a big fan of the AST TOY640 that Shahryar linked above. After breaking a plastic wrench, and dealing with a Pep Boys/Autozone "F" wrench stretching out and slipping, I bought this one, and it has been working great for the past few years.

I bought a strap wrench from kragens because I didnt want to scratch the oil filter housing and I got it out on my first try, pretty easy.

nice, glad to hear I picked up a good one. I've seen so many suggestions and complaints on them that I wasn't sure what to go with. But again, haven't used it yet so i don't know firsthand
