^^^Mine doesn't do that . But I also have a base model without ML. I'm not sure if the higher trim level cars are equipped with that.

I DO have those slots though. I always thought they had something to do with the sliding vanity mirror .

yea, i dont know if its the visor or the center dome that catches road noise but yes it does that i forgot what its called thou. Go in the sound setting and theres an option to turn it off or on

It's called ASL I think, it's in the audio menu if you have navi, I don't know if normal system has it or not. But it gets louder with speed.

ASL is a pretty standard feature across the board. Even base model Corollas have it.

All 2IS models have it. Models without Nav have an ASL button, however the sunvisors have zero to do with it.

Lexus calls the slots [business] card holders.

asl has something to do with the stereo deck itself i think. I thought they designed the visors to reduce wind noise when the windows are down. I saw one of those 3d lexus videos on the website when i bought my car

Yes, the visors are designed to absorb noise from the windshield, etc. One of the first designed to do that, though it has little to do with the card holder. Haha.
