Default 2008 IS with 2011 front head light

Will 2011 Front head lights fit a 2008 or does someone make an aftermarket light that has the LED's in them?

Welcome to forum! Please try the search button as this has been asked & answered a few times. Yes...it will fit. They are very expensive and the only aftermarket are LEDs that stick on the outside such as VAIStech.com.

I was told by Sewell that the 2011 lights only fit 2009 and above. The price is about $2500 for the 2011's

Thanks for the info. I will pass on stick on's. I am sure someone will make an aftermarket one. Did not know this was a big topic. Will search next time.

sewell lexus has retrofit for IS 2006-2009, they have pictures on there site, yes there pricey but it can be done same as with F taillights...you can also get the 2009 side mirrors with turn signals as well , or you could get the famous aftermarket covers with turn signals there nice too just bigger then the 2009 and above ones..

Whoever you talked to didn't know what they were talking about.

Sewell sells kits for ALL years.

Here they are for an 06 (which'd be the same for 07-08)

Halogen to HID-
http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2006/2411.html

$2731

HID to HID-

$2145

Pretty much any Lexus part is insanely more expensive than what it should really cost.

Not as bad as BMW's parts though.

I'd stick with just blacking it out. I think the older taillights look so much better at night than the new ones do.

Parts can cost a lot but the satisfaction to your custom works will pay off. It's addicting though.

I will have to stick to Jeep parts for my rockrawler! They are a little less expensive. LOL I would like to see the "blackened tail lights."
