Default quick question regarding steering wheel

I have stock steering wheel and my car has about 60k on it. Recently, the steering wheel feel very stiff, stiffer to turn and stuff! i was just wondering if it was supposed to be like that or something wrong with my IS! let me know if ur have the same problem too. i checked the power steering fluid and it is at its max line. i checked tires' pressures and it is where it should be. i think there might be something wrong with it but i hate to take it to the dealer shop for themt o charge 90 dollars just to take a look at it if there is something i could do! thanks

Yeah no power steering fluid on the 2IS. Electric power steering (motor in the rack). Not sure what you checked.

Check to see if you have any recalls outstanding, there was a recall on the IS to replace the steering rack.
