more pics on first link.

been looking and looking for an 08 is250 navi and all that and 1 gfm and 2 star fire pearls came into my local dealership today and i was extremely excited. i almost fell out of my car when i was driving by them just sitting there all three right next to eachother. and i knew the gfm was the one i wanted. any input on what i should check on it tomorrow when i go test drive it? is it priced ok? what should i offer to put down on it. i love how low the mileage is on it and only thing i dislike is the fact that it's an 07 with no navi. does the 07s come with the auxiliary ports in the glove box?

edit: and it comes with a lifetime warranty. which is b-e-a-utiful.

First of all, that is a little high for an IS250 in my market, not too sure about in Florida though. Excellent low mileage to be four model years old!! Also, I would read the fine print on the "lifetime warranty". If it is what it claims to be, that is a huge plus, just make sure that you don't leave there thinking it's something that it isn't. I bought my '06 IS350 last year for $19k and change. It had 70,000 miles on it, which is a LOT more thann that car, but you are talking about a $6,000 difference in price too. I see IS250s with 30k-50k miles on them here for between $17k and $20k.

I LOVE that color! Unfortunately when I was looking for my car the only ones I ever found in 350 didn't have NAV and for me NAV was a must. The mileage is awesome for it being a 2007 and since you have the lifetime warranty the year shouldn't be an issue (that is if you're happy w/ the rest of the car). Personally I don't like the yellowish interior because its more of a yellow than beige but again if that suites you I'd def go w/ it. Try to get them to take a grand off and I'd be good to go.

+1 on the price being a bit steep. I paid less than that for my 07 IS350 with 40k miles a year ago.

It is very nice. But as everyone mentioned, the price is too high. $21k would be okay. I bet the dealership got it for $18k or under.

hmmm that price is iffy, look up the blue book value for dealer resale and let us know what it says. you are going to pay more from a dealer then you will private party. i bought my 07 IS250 AWD with 27k miles for $25,000. Which also came with NAV. I know the AWD's are more expensive then a regular 250, but not as expensive as a 350. So like I said check the blue book value on that

I bet the lifetime is just powertrain... beyond that there might well be additional fine print (like "Only valid if you come in for $150 oil changes every 6 months to our dealership" or something).

The bumper to bumper is gone anytime from "already" to in the next 6-8 months depending how late in its model year it was originally sold.

It also appears to be a completely base model... like, no options whatsoever except 18" wheels... makes me wonder if maybe it was a demo car or something?

Color is pretty, but I'd pass personally given how bare it is at that price... (well, and that it's a _2_50, but that's me)

Oh, to answer your question- all 2ISes have an AUX port in the center console (or a USB one on 2010+ models)

You might as well get an IS350 for that price.

Maybe with the high price you are paying for the lifetime warranty?

It says the lifetime warranty takes over the factory power train warranty. so make sure its the same kind of warranty, not one with some crazy deductible for repairs. That's reallyyy low miles for an 07, maybe too low...that's less than 4,000 miles a year! Make sure the oil changes were done at least every 6 months and not every 5k miles (cuz then that's only 3 oil changes in its life since '07) Then again if its really a good lifetime warranty it's not too much of a concern...

Price is high, and don't get sucked in by the warranty. That's a powertrain-only lifetime warranty, which they can offer because the powertrain is the most bulletproof part of a Lexus.
