Default Shark fin antenna cable

Does anyone know where I can get the long cable that connects the shark fin antenna to the satellite radio module in the trunk?

I have an '06 IS250 that has XM radio installed (dealer install). The problem is I ended up canceling the service due to the sporadic reception caused by the crappy little black square antenna that sits in my rear window. I want satellite radio again so I've decided to get the shark fin antenna since I know reception would be 10 times better:

I'm hoping this will be plug n play if I can somehow get the wire that connects it to the module.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your problem is not the 'crappy little black square' antenna, your problem is that is inside the window. If you relocate it to the outside where it is supposed to be there will be no issues and you'll get good, clean reception. If you can't stand to do that, well, good luck with converting it to a shark fin type antenna. I don't think it is plug n' play.

Well I figured that much (that its because its inside of the window), but there's no way I'd want to stick it on the outside which is why I want to use the shark fin since it'll look clean and factory. Why wouldn't it be plug n play I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be?

If I am correct, I believe the wiring is sort of hard to get access too. May take some dissembling to get to it.

If were from the facatory and it came with both, it would be intergrated with the shark fin too I bet.

Reception was clear for me as well when it worked. The problem is it would randomly cut out for a second or two in the middle of songs. I attributed this to poor signal strength. I assume this is why they went to the shark fin 07+.
