How many F-sports are there.....
When I bought my 2011 IS250 F-sport 2 days the salesman told me Lexus only made 500 of them, an that for 2012 there would be another 500, he also told me that due to their limited production the car will hold its value since they will be rare.....i seen 2 today and they were both Tungsten Pearl, are they really that limited or am I just that lucky to see 2 of them in 1 day. lol

I doubt they are only making 500 per year. My local dealer had five in stock last month and another I checked out had four. I don't think that would be the case if there were only 500 to go around. Plus I've seen several on the road. Maybe he was confusing it with the newly announced IS350C sport. There will only be 500 of those. Or, your salesman is just doing typical salesman BS to ensure a sale.

I'm not sure if it's limited to 500 but the pretty big Lexus dealer here didn't even have any F-Sports. The sales guy who worked there for over 15 years looked at me crazy when I asked if they had any F-Sport packaged cars and had to ask his manager....

I have found most salesmen to be full of crap. I usually know more about the cars than they do. I had one try to tell me that an F sport that I was sitting in had ventilated seats...um NO and that they no longer made glacier frost when we were standing right in front of one! Same salesman was bragging about the options and said the 2011's have AFS. Good grief.
I hope your salesman is wrong, while I would like something exclusive I won't be getting a new car until my lease is expiring in October and the F sport is the only version of the 2011 IS I would buy (just can't get past the stock 18's and the plain front bumper) I am hoping it won't be extremely difficult to find a USB IS350 F sport that I can get somewhat of a deal on.
I will say that there should be fewer of them on the road because there have only been a couple at each dealer I checked. I have yet to see one on the road but I live in hillbillyville.

It's pretty hard to find a 350 F-Sport right now. Most F-Sports are 250. I called around and went to several dealership before getting mine. I saw 2 350 (one black and the other gunmetal) and about 15 250s. It was a hard to find a USB.
There was a USB at the first place I went to but I didn't pull the trigger because it was my first day shopping for a car and it sold within the week. Every single dealership in southern california didn't have a USB (and most didn't even know it came in USB)

I agree that most all salesmen know less than we do most of the time. They don't do their research on specific things.
