To be honest this box isn't for you if you're looking for SPL aka deep low hitting.
It's more for punch type bass.
I heard this box yesterday w/ a JL w6 then a w6 in a ported box and the ported box took the cake.

^ Sealed is best for sound quality, ported for more bass (bandpass is even better for that though, as I understand it). AFAIK you can't just take a sealed box (like the 4080/boxology box this thread is about) and convert it to a ported version.
