Default New item with a question! (How do I remove trunk emblem)

So I got my new spoiler , it's the wrong color and will be in the paint shop tomorrow. Question... how do I remove the trunk emblem? any DIY or does it pop right out with a flathead?

The logo emblem is stuck ther with 3M double-sided waterproof tape. I took mine yesterday to change it for a Black Pearl color set i ordered. It is easy to take off just use a pastic spatula to get in between the paint and the emblem and pry it off. If you are going to re-use it do it carefully as it can be damage. Once you have the spatula in between the paint and the emblem just keep a motion from side to side to help peel off the tape.
On each side of the emblem it has two small plastic studs dont damage those as you need to reuse to lineup your emblem again in your spoiler.

That also works good. Make sure has no wax in it.

i just used a hair dryer and put it next to the emblem for less than a minute, then i picked on the L carefully.
after its off i peeled the glue off the emblem and trunk.
to put it back on, i just cut a few strips of 3M tape.

to answer your question, hair dryer + dental floss. dont use fishing line as it might scratch your car. make sure to alcohol wipe your trunk aswell

+1

Use the floss to cut through the adhesive. (back and forth motion) Since the emblem is flushed, I would start with the L and work my way out.
