IS350 owners, how many mpg do you get?
I picked up my 2011 IS350 Fsport early december of last year. I'm averaging 17mpg which seems very low. I just wanted to compare to see what others were doing and see if this is an issue.
BTW, hello to all since this is my 1st post..

17 is not uncommon if you do short drives and or city driving or a heavy right foot. You will probably only get 24+ if you do alot of highway driving. I do a combination of both and get about 21 (quite a bit more highway than city).

First off welcome and congrats. Secondly, factors like weight, temp, environment, tire pressure all have things to do with lower mileage. In your case though, your car is brand new and the engine needs to be broken in more. My 350 for example was getting a consistent 15mpg until I hit around 10K on the clock. Now I get 22mpg mixed driving. Just some food for though.

I brought mine used with 49,000 miles on it. The first few weeks of driving it, I was averaging 12.8 MPG. Since I'm in high school, it bothers me that I have to pay $8 total to get to school and back when the bus was only $2. I got it checked out at Lexus dealer for free and they said nothing is wrong with it. So I just decided to do the simply stuff like checking tire pressure (I fill to 37 front and 40 back), replace the air filter, change oil, and spark plugs. I also did Seafoam, BG 44K, and Chevron Fuel Cleaner. Now, that most stuff is replaced, I'm averaging 15.5 MPG in the winter here in Chicago. It's strange how I average 32 MPG on the highway alone but 14.5 in the city, such a huge difference.
@brociouz: How come use 0w20? I've been using 5w30 and just brought 8qts of SynPower last month. Will it make any noticeable improvements?
