looking to do my interior trim over to make it stand out a little more than wood/black. trying to see if anyone knows how to remove the silver trim on the glove box door? there are a few banana clips holding it but theres seems to be something else that doesn't pop out.

Default Matte Wood Trim

Never was a fan of glossy wood trim. So I covered it with this. It kinda looks the matte wood trim that you'd see on most high end modern vehicles and latest Lexus models.

Thank you. The material is called Tamo Wood Di-Noc by 3M http://www.metrorestyling.com/3M-DI-...ocdarktamo.htm. You can also find them on EBAY or Amazon. The material is unique in that you can feel the grain giving the sense that it's real wood not some printed pattern. Good quality too, won't easily tear and easy to clean.

I wonder if this would look good on the tan interior is250/350? I want to wrap mine now that the weather is getting better.
What do y'all think would look best with the light tan interior? Need some opinions.

.

I think the dark wood would make a nice contrast/match with a tan interior. IMO, I would much rather have my interior in tan to go with this vinyl wrap I have on my car. This might give u an idea:

That looks nice, but with the black on tan, would it still look ok? I would be wrapping just the plastic pieces. So not the whole dash obviously.
And the dash and door panels will be replaced with the recall in May...

Default Focal K2/Audison Bit-One

Covered the speakers in black cloth and added Focal decal. The controller is a little crooked and irritates me haha. Gotta adjust it.

Thank you. I ordered 48" x 12" size and it was more than enough to wrap the center console and the four window/door lock switch bezels.

I appreciate it. Here's a DIY: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...m-removal.html. The tricky parts are the corners, the shifter gate, and the cup holder cover. The cup holder cover has 3 clips located on the back end(facing the arm rest) and 2 hook-like clips on the front end (facing the dash). The trick is to pop the 3 clips on the back end first then it will come loose. Just be cautious as to not break the clips. I broke one but it still holds shut after the fact. GL!
