*%@*'ing Interior Plastics!!!
Went to clean a small light dirt spot on the top of the dash with a very soft towel and a quick spray of windex on the towel, after lightly wiping the spot turned into a scuff and got worse, I thought it might be the fibers/fuzz from the towel as the dash is kind of rubbery type, but a felt lint brush removed nothing and the spot remains. The only thing that made it better was some interior detail spray which has a light gloss to it and I prefer the factory matte finish and I know once the spray wears off the spot will be back. Seems like a redye with an airbrush is the only real solution unless others here have something clever.
I then tried to remove some white sneaker marks from the lower door pull out pockets and they would not come out either, I even accidently rubbed my knuckle over the plastic and that left a scuff mark of skin and that now wont come out...WTF kind of plastic/dying process is Lexus using and how can the scuff be cleaned without making it worse??? I tried a very small spot on the kick panel with a very well moistened piece of magic eraser which did nothing and I hated to even try it and will not again.
Our car is a '10 with black interior and about 6000 miles
Thanks

i have a '10 with black interior and i use an old black cotton t-shirt, leaves nothing behind and what it does you don't notice. i don't like the wet look and always just dust the dash with it, i use no sprays at all.
