Are Camber kits necessary?
Hey Guys,
I was going to buy some coils over the weekend and was wondering if i needed a camber kit on stock wheels?
I know there are FIGS engineering Camber kits and Megans Camber kits.
I searched alot of the fourms and didn't find a clear answer ;[
So i just wanted to ask haha
I plan on getting some agressive set up during the summer, but with the stock would i need the camber kit?
If you guys have them installed could you give me your opinions on it? Does it make noise? how long do they usually last for?
Thanks!

Camber kits are essential parts for those who lowered their cars. Unless you don't care about your expensive tires.
In most car design, camber kits take a small amount of the car load. So if you install them correctly, they should last a long time. And no they don't make noise. They only provide extra angle leverage.

When lowering a vehicle you're changing the geometry of it. NEGATIVE camber WILL cause inside tire wear and hence wear your tires out. If you're going to go agressive, you may not be able to push the tops of the tires out towards the fender when looking at it from the rear.

If you're going aggressive (drop and flush/low offset), FIGS would be better for you. FIGS pulls the bottom in, while Meg pushes the top out (which pushes your wheels further out from the center of the car).
