I have an 08 IS250 but i'm missing the two pieces under the front bumper cover and was wondering if I would be able to fit a lip kit on it without those pieces.
OP: Yes, the GFX, Fabulous and Vertex lip kits all replace the OEM front lip (which is in 2 pieces on the '06-'08 2IS). Other front lips like Wald, Five Axis, INGS require the OEM pieces.
Continuing on this topic of lip kit fitment, which lip is the most durable for the front bottom, as in if the the bottom is flat and not open to get hooked onto something and get ripped off (my other lip on my old car got ripped off like that reversing off a driveway).
^ Probably GFX because it is pretty flat underneath and doesn't hang very low.
Forgot to mention, another plus of buying a lip that replaces the OEM pieces is that they use the OEM bolts and tabs, so they tend to fit better and don't require 3M tape.
