I don't do it everyday though...lol Too much work. When I do clean it up, the results always look brand new. =)

I daily drive mine 90% hwy and up to the slopes....mine is filthy right now.

I also have the 3m on my entire front end, and wheel wells all around ... my car is starfire pearl ... look at this way, if yur front end has to be repainted, it will never look the same ... whenever something flies up and hits my car, I dont freak out... plus when white paint chips, usually black underneath never looks cute at all, lol ... I do alot of highway driving in NY alot of construction, for me it is definitely worth it hands down!

clear bra 100%. Yes you see a line. I'd rather that than a bunch of chips. Lexus paint is so brittle and chips like you wouldn't believe.

Clear bra has its good and bad. it will protect the paint and help keep the car's value, but i think it makes the car looks ugly. although its clear, you can still see where the bra ends

You wax the clear bra like you would the rest of your car. 3M recommends PLEXUS because the bra is porous and PLEXUS is suppose to seal the film keeping out dirt and dust. The main concern is no harsh petroleum products like 409, Simple Green or bug & tar remover on the film because over time it causes it to dull and turn yellow.

I have it and you can only really see it on the mirrors since they're not fully wrapped. I have full hood and full front bumper. The trick is for the installer to cut a slightly bigger piece so that they can wrap the edges making the install invisible. I got 3M venture shield (best) and it rocks, though I still got a paint chip on a pillar... can just never win

I never really gave it thought to install a clear bra on my IS, but now I really wish I did. My front end is chipped up like crazy from all the rocks and debris. It's really noticeable, especially on a red car like mine. So yes, if/when I get my front end repainted, I'd be putting on a clear bra definitely.

i got ventureshield but its just the bumper, hood, mirrors and gfx lip. do it! after i got my front resprayed i got it done. i regret not getting it when i purchased the car. Clear bra will be on all my future cars that come off the lot new.
