I bought these tails from an ISF member on here. He had them painted and cleared professionally. They came out great and I loved the way they look but I missed my LED reverse lights being bright as the paint kind of dimmed them. So I went and trimmed around the reverse lights and wet sanded them down. Then I wet sanded the entire tail lights to make it have a matte finish. Then I wet sanded the blinkers. Here is the prev look and final result.
Here they are at night on the guys ISF before I bought them. I dont have a prev night shot
And here they are now. LMK what you guys think. I may polish the reverse and blinkers to make just those shiny and leave the black part matte black

i think they look sick the way they are now! i think the mix of matte and gloss finish might look funny, but if you can easily put the matte finish back on if you dont like it then i would try
How were you able to create that finish? just by wet sanding?

I spent prob more like 4 hours being honest. But it was a nightmare getting the corners after it was taped so I spent alot of time on it
