I'm sad that it doesn't fit an '06 because I'm a fan of the F-sport mesh grille.

Oh well.

Congrats on getting a hold of a sickkkkk grill!

Thank you for all of the responses LexTuners. Since you state that there is no real way of fitting them to the 06-08 models can you foresee anything new coming to market that would be similar?
Not sure if anyone can comment yet?

not sure about aftermarket (slim chance, given the limited choice we have to begin with, so it's not like aftermarket companies are jumping to make grilles for the 2IS).

from lexus, i'd have to say no, for two reasons: 1) the 2IS is on its way out, so no point for lexus to produce an accessory for the 06-08 models. 2) the 09-10 and 11 F-Sport grilles aren't intended to be made as accessory to begin with. Even though we call them F-Sport grille because they come on the F-Sport package, they aren't technically listed under 'F-Sport accessory'. They are simply part of a factory package. Since no special grille ever existed for any packages for 06-08 models, i wouldn't expect lexus to make one after the fact.

These looks pretty good for aftermarket grills:

Not sure about that. They do have good feedback and have been on there selling for over 9 years. The mesh grill looks pretty close to the F-Sport grill and matches the lower grill. I may have to pull the trigger and be the guinea pig

It looks like it just fits in the stock surround. So does the stock insert just pop out and this one pops in? Do we have to remove the bumper for this?

By the looks of it...it looks like it just snaps into the OEM surround once you remove the OEM middle. I doubt you would have to remove the bumper. You could always send them an email to verify...

Look at the emblem. Our emblem is not solid so you would see the black bars (not mesh) behind it. Do you see what I'm saying? Not sure how it would look. I am finding out where it is manufactured. The company said they didn't do it but didn't say who did.

Picked up my F-Sport grilles today. Looks cool, definitely better than in pics (much darker colour). Not sure when I'll get them installed, but hopefully soon. Should look good.

I was excited to see that ebay mesh grille, especially when I saw this pic:

But then I read your comment and DO notice the black bars behind the emblem...they would look funky

I wonder why they didn't just continue the mesh pattern...

You could probably cut out those bars, might look better that way. (On the IS F you can see through the emblem, the mesh pattern does not continue).
