Default DDM Tuning 3000k HID Question

Hey guys i was planing on ordering some 3000k HID kit from DDM for my fog lights. Can any of you guys who have ordered 3000k for your fog lights from them post up pics? I want to see what they look like before buying them. Also will i need to buy the extra harness from them or have to buy anything extra to hook it up? or is it just plug and play like most kits are? Thanks

from what i know, the DDM tuning ones are pale yellow. not the deep golden yellow that you get from halogens.

you can get a harness if you don't want to deal with flickering and to have a extra fuse to protect your HID kit. if you don't care, then skip the harness.

harnesses should be plug and play.

does it always look like this? or is it just because it didn't warm up yet?

yes they are both from DDM tuning. i'm not 100% sure, but i believe they are both 2nd set. One of the bulbs from my first set was dying ( i drive with my lights on -day and night-) *my first set looks exactly like Whitecel's first 2 pictures*

At first i was complaining that the colors were different since i got them both from DDM, but the more green grew on me. I've gotten a lot of compliments with both of them.

I've seen quite a bit of CL members with the 8k/3k setup, so i hope they will jump on this and show you more pictures.

I've had them for about 6 or 7 months now. Initially forgot which, but my bulb or ballast took a dump about 3 weeks from it being brand new. Lifetime warranty so it took 2 weeks turnaround time since I'm in Hawaii. Never had a problem since. The problem was with the 5ks tho not the 3ks

that's good to hear, for the price and the lifetime warranty is the main reason why I'm leaning towards DDM. Did you buy the additional harness that was offered? Or did you just get the kit and it was plug and play? I am confused about it because i never had to buy any additional parts before for a HID Kit as everything was provided. It is an additional 12.50 for the HID harness. I'm not trying to pay extra for it if i don't need it.
