I drove my RWD on ice last year. It wasn't easy but slow and steady and a little momentum helps too to go up those hills.
If it's bad enough like that again I'll bring some sand and gravel. But likely I'll just call off which I did do too.

Too much bench racing in this thread. (at least syzygy provides data w/o bias)
The bottom line is anyone that rebadges their car as something it is not is an idiot, whether it be an up or downgrade.

Amazingly, hundreds of millions of folks drive around just fine with RWD in the winter when they put snow tires on the car, and have for most of the last century.... and most did it without the advanced traction control and snow modes the 350 or 335 have too.
Even better they don't take the mileage and performance hit the AWD guys do all year long

I've driven so many RWD cars in the snow, I simply dont trust other people driving out there ... I was driving home in my IS the other night a bunch of SUV's stacked on either ide of the road, and then theres me, traction off, RWD puttin along carefully didnt spin out once! I'm not a perfect driver but I certainly understand snow/ice drivin
