Full of questions - 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 pics?
Just wondering if anyone went this route. Looking into some Genesis coupe wheels I have a line on and they OEM tires are this size.
I did a comparison with a tire calculator and know the proper sizes should be 225/35/19 and 255/35/19 but has anyone else run the other size tires? How does it look? Any pics.
Thanks in advance. I'm asking a lot of questions recently.

Yup good point. I've taken it into consideration. The car will only have 50% of the increased diameter making it higher off the ground and the other 50% creating less wheel gap.
I just wanted to be sure it looks ok. I like the idea of the added comfort of the larger sidewall (and less chance of bending a wheel) but wanted to make sure it didn't look too much like a 4x4.
Thanks for the reply

225/40/19 front is what IS-F runs from the factory. Look at the IS-F picture and it looks good to me.
245/40/19 However, would be much too tall for the IS.
Go for 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear

those would be weird size. if you go with those for the winter they thats good but the car will look really really high. even if you have coilovers and you can adjust you will be decently high because they are so tall. also, they might rub if you want to go low. thats why its seems that most guys drive 18 inch tires with 40 or even 45 profile for the snow winteers. then have something lower profile with 19 inch rims for the summer.
