Default Tramlining ......!!!!!!

I have search and read tons of posts on the issue with this tramlining. Especially with the Bridgestone ER33. I bought my vehicle used. An '07 IS250. I thought there was a serious problem with the car when I experienced this tramlining. This is my first time owning a RWD car, I have had a FWD and AWD car before this. This car does have new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires in the rear. I was thinking about replacing the front with these as well. But what I am really looking for is some input from other with their experience when they changed their tires over to a new set. Looking for a bunch of input on this. Can you please list what tire you had previously and what new tires replaced the old, and whether or not you notice a difference in the tramlining from before.

Thanks

google it! It's when the car follows the contours of the road on its own essentially.

I'd have to say i guess i notice this also, not to an extent where it bothers me or i think about it every time though, i drive with one hand but its a pretty firm grip on the wheel. I have Nitto Invo tires on my RWD 250. I'm no expert, but I'd have to say its just because the steering is very smooth and maybe looser than your previous cars (but not loose in a bad way, unless yours truly does have a problem).

Get two new matching Michelin's for the front and get it aligned, that should calm it down for the most part.

I thought our car's did that because "they can track'd" as the one tech told me.. ie sporty suspension.

i have bridgestone potenzas and the tramlining is horrible. I just order a new set of hankooks, and i will get an alignment. This should solve the issue...
If you research the threads on here you will see that the hankooks and michelling ps2 are some really good tires.

HKS thinks there is a steering rack TSB for the 06' 07' year models that fix this issue.

I just searched through all 101 TSBs for the 2006, and all 91 TSBs for the 2007...and found nothing on steering racks or "tramlining"...only thing that pops up for steering TSBs is a repair manual supplement...

"tramlining" can be easily cured by holding onto the steering wheel with 2 hands
