I think there is a TSIB for the aux port plug.....people experiencing the same problems I believe. Do a search and see if you can't find out some more info...ill see what I can find out for you.

Should contact the manufacturer of the iPod integration kit about it. It's an issue on the module most likely.
The OP is not using the aux port from what I understand. The integration kit is probably just analog and not getting the audio through a digital means, hence the static.

If they aren't able to solve the issue, you could look at other integration kits sold by vendors here like DICE Electronics and VAISTech.

Not familiar with this particular product, but does it require grounding or anything?

yea my unit doesnt connect thru aux its goes right to the back of the stock stereo..

i have contacted USA SPEC about this before but they said i would have to send them the unit and if there anything needs to be replaced i would need to pay for it. and the price is almost the same as a new unit ...

i only found grounding for the aux but not for my ipod cable

^ Wow, glad I didn't buy anything from USA SPEC, sounds like they have horrible customer service.

Hope you figure it out. Might be worth looking into the TSIB to see if it could be related.

My USA Spec I Pod integration kit worked fine and when I sold it to another member on CL, it worked fine as well. Good luck!
