Default North Jersey Spolier Install ?

Hey all...wow, been a while since I posted anything. Almost at 12000 miles on my 2010 350C...loved every minute of the car....

My father recently bought a GS350...without a spoiler. Dealer wanted something like $900 to purchase/paint/install. I bought the painted spoiler off Sewell at a great price, now I know there is some drilling involved....

Anyone know a reasonable quality shop that will do the install in North Jersey. Please let me know.

Regards.

I would do that myself, but ive been told it takes some drilling. I should prob post in the GS forum, but thought I would take a shot here.

You might want to post this in your regional forum.

Drilling is not necessary. I bought an OEM trunk spoiler off a member here back in April. He plied off the bolts from the spoiler then used 3M tape. I used 3M tape as well and it's holding up just fine. It took about 10 minutes tops to install. Just make sure you line it up right. Good luck.

Same here no drilling is needed. My spoiler has been on for a year no problems.

I just installed the GFX spoiler yesterday on my 07' IS2xx...

just get a dremel and cut off the screws on the spoiler.. they cut off real easy..
go to home depot and get some double sided tape... Reccomend getting the "Scotch Exterior Mounting Tape". Install is simple.. just make sure you are even on both sides.. No drilling needed!!

I wonder how 3M tape is with a heavier spoiler like the Wald one?

If 3M tape can keep my front lip on after 40k miles and 2 winters plowing through snow, I am sure it can keep a roof spoiler on fine.
