Default Free 6/100,000 mile power train VSA?

Sorry if this has been posted already, but i received a letter from Lexus regarding the new valve spring recall and they mentioned for the ordeal they are giving me a free 6yr/100,000 warranty. I haven't even sent my car in for this recall yet.

I just got it this week, has anyone else received this letter?

Good to know. I just received my recall notice. I got an oil change over two months ago and they said they'd queue me up for parts. I called them and said they still don't have them. I also brought up a few other TSBs like the CAM/VVTi thing and rearview mirror vibrating. The service guy tried to quickly dismiss it and said they'd have to look into it. The CAM/VVTi is still under powertrain warranty but the rearview mirror isn't, I hope they'll fix it for free anyways.

And a free 6/100,000 warranty would be sweet.

Is this 6 year 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty?

Would it be transferable if I decide to sell my car?q

The extended warranty is for the powertrain. So they kept the years the same and increased the mileage.

I received the extended warranty in the mail. Sounds like it's standard for 06 owners maybe?

Powertrain only. bumper to bumper is still 4yr/50k

for the people that get the extended (i thought it was 7yr/100k) you also get a $500 gift card.
