I have the Garax 8K. Chemical reaction, do you mean like the warm up time? If yes, I would say about a minute or so.

Not sure, what kind of blue you are expecting because 8K has bright white with a light touch of blue. I have seen pictures where the color of the 8K was either a cheap brand such that the 8K is not at the correct color temp (providing too much blue) or the way the picture was taken, the color appears differently than in person.

Attached is my pictures. The pics of mine is about accurate in comparison of looking at the lights in person.

every HID company made not the same, like when I first install the Garax 6000k, I didn't like it at all because the color look greenish to me compare to the other brand I have white with blue hue to it, but after I have the Garax 6000k for about 10 hours or more the color now shift to what I like so let it burn in for few hours and see what would be like? I don't have Garax 8000k, therefore I don't what is your color look like in person, but I had 8000K from JTR lighting which made in china that I had and it look blue with purple hue to it, it look very nice but the output is suck, and sold them to my friend and installed on his 06 IS and it look white with pink hue, I don't know why? on my 07 and his 06 they look totally different well anyway just wait for few more hours untill it burn in and color shift you might see they are look different

Garax bulbs are not blue at all, i have 8k in my car and my friend has 10k in his car... both me and my friend were very disappointed when we got the bulb... because we wanted it to be more blue. My 8k garax bulbs are now just plain white.

Someboy,

Does it look like my color as in the pic?

Here is the Garax JP site about the bulbs.
http://www.kspec.co.jp/garax_jp/catalog/hid_d4c/

Their sample pic looks like almost pretty white looking at all 3 color temps except for the outer area.

should be a week of good driving, but i'd say less. If your 10K is white it's not right. Should borderling purple.

Sounds like burn-in / break-in period to me. For me, I had the bulbs since about the end of August. I did not notice a color change on my car but they have looked the same ever since day one.

I am not sure about the 10Ks but it does look a bit odd that it still remains white. Could provide us some pictures to look at?

Ya idunno what your talking bout. Im assumnig you mean to "WARM UP"

I have Garax 8k in my car and I love em!

Turn the car on, they're white, give them a couple minutes to "WARM UP" and they're a decent blue hint to it.

Very satisfied!

ApokC,

Your picture looks like it was taken during the day so the color picture appears differnt in the picture comparison with mine when taking it in the dark looking straight on. However, I can say the picture does look identical in person when if I turn on my HIDs during daytime.

when i first got my Garax 6000k there was a little yellowness on it but after running it for over a week it has the same temperature color as the one above.. It takes a few hours for it to really attain its advertised color..
