I just the letter from Lexus. It came with the $1500 voucher towards a new car and it said that the $500 gift card would follow. I wish this would have come sooner as I just ordered a bunch of parts from Sewell.

I bought my car brand new back in 2006, and do not have any extended warranties, etc.

i brought my car to the dealer thursday and got it back monday. i got the pedal,brakes and valve springs done. they let me use an HS250h which i was pretty happy about since i planned on putting a lot of miles on the loaner lol.

called sewell but never returned my call, i wanted to know if they would accept the gift card. have anybody used the gift card to purchase on sewell???

i got my letter with $1500 off new car and extended warranty thats it. I haven't been in for any recalls nor do I have extended warranty. Man i wish I could get a piece of that $500.

Less than a year after it was tarnished by reports of runaway cars, the automaker recalled 1.5 million vehicles Thursday to address brake-fluid and fuel-pump troubles, drawing new attention to safety issues that have festered inside the company for years.

The world's No. 1 carmaker said there were no accidents or injuries connected to the latest recall, which covers some Lexus and Toyota models from the 2004 to 2006 model years, mostly in the U.S. and Japan.

Honda had the same recall too since they both buy from the same supplier much like almost every automotive company. This thread is for the valve spring recall when a misaligned machine scared some valve springs.
