I don't blame him. You were the one who started this mess.

ok...so you missed a payment FROM 2007, so darrel had no choice but to get a collection agency on you. The collection agency's job is to harass you for the money, so you can't be mad that you were harassed, its your fault.

late fees occur when you dont pay for stuff on time, you never paid darrel any money until now, so someone must have had to pay for the late fees back in 2007 when it occurred, it was probably darrel. how does this not make sense to you?

now, when your trying to buy stuff from sewell, they are kind of sketchy about you, and are holding your funds to make sure they get their money from you first.

I admit darrel probably should keep better contact with you, but like you said, he does work at a big corporate and is a little busy. and since this whole even occured 2 weeks ago, it takes a while for funds to transfer so he is probably just waiting till everything clears before he sends you your brake pads

Please read the post properly before making assumptions. The collection agency was paid AS SOON AS I GOT THE LETTER. which was in 2007. I do not owe them anything.

Yes, you are right. However, since he is a customer service representative, I expect him to reply my emails, and not avoid them.

And since you are a customer they expect you to pay for their product which would have avoided this whole situation to begin with.

The money that the collection agency was going after was for Brokerage. This is charged by Fedex and the customs in Canada. It is tax / duty. Not for the item i ordered.

Honestly though, the point of this thread was to get Darrel's attention.

+1. just pay your fees on time, and this wouldnt have been an issue to begin with.
Not very smart of you trying to do business with someone, you decided not to pay.
