Has anyone purchased F-sport fender badge from Sewell? They came standard with 2011 F-sport edition. I wanted to find out if someone install these on '06-10 IS. The badge came with pins on the back side which required drill holes on the fender.

The one I got is not that dark. It's like silver but more like dark silver. I've seen this black colored badge on Lexus website with USB color. Maybe the badges have different color depending on car's color. Sewell sells the one with silver color. I was gonna cut the pins and use only double sided tape but the badges are larger than I thought, kind of tacky looking.

Like most emblems in the Lexus arsenal there are guide pins on the back of the emblem to ensure consistent placement. The F-Sport badges do not require drilling nor we we even think to suggesting such. Simply take your pliers and twist the pins off. Better yet, I've got one on my desk and I just used my thumb to snap the guide pin off. Yes, really just my thumb with only minimal effort. DON'T DRILL - leave that up to the Republicans.
