Get the WeatherTech floormats. I have the OEM rubber and carpet mats. I've only had the mats for 8 months and a hole formed in the rubber mat from my heel on the right foot being on the gas. Water and stuff leaks through so I have the carpeted mats under it. And no, I don't wear high heels or anything, just sneakers.

I have always bougth WeatherTech and they are top quality. In fact, my old WT mats were in my Camry for 4 yrs and still looked new. I took them out when I sold the car and it has been my g/f's Subaru for a yr now. Still going strong.

We have hexomats in my IS250 and our ES350. I think they're more attractive than the weathertech style. Not sure how they'd stand up to really heavy snow but I like how low profile they are.

Also, they're cheaper.

You own a Lexus, you can afford $200 mats.

Just because I own a lexus doesn't mean I see a need to spend $200 on something that literally just gets stepped on.

I had hexomats in my last two cars and they lasted longer than the lifetime of my ownership of the vehicle-- which can't be said of the weathertechs we had in a 2000 ES300, which wore out at the heel in 2 years. The digitalfit liners didn't exist then, so no comment on those, but the rubber mats are just that, regular rubber mats.

Yes you don't need to spend the money, but you could afford it if you needed to. That is my point. To be honest after spending easily $400-$500 in lexus rubber mats, and all my weather tech mats in all my old audi's and still have them and after 7-8 years still look mint after many a Michigan winter. I'll stick with spending $170 now and not have to worry for many more years now that i am in Florida.

My personal opinion is that if you are getting WeatherTech Mats splurge and go for the WeatherTech liners. The Liners will have a MUCH better coverage area and they are literally designed specifically for your vehicle.

I got the WeatherTech Liners. Fronts only for $100 plus $20 shipping and I love them.
Easy in & out. I throw them in the trunk when its nice out because I'm using the OEM carpet mats.

Go for the weather tech Liners or matts. The Lexus OEM all weather version 1 matts were awesome. They has nice raised walls that would keep the liquids/ rain water in the matt. But after the whole toyota floor matt getting caught on the accelerator bull crap cover up, they designed new ones that are ultra thin and are worthless. I bought Version 2 thinking they would be just as good as version one and well, that was a disappointment. Go with weather tech liner or matts. If you are on the fence. Call them and ask then to send you a sample of the colors and they will send you left over or scrap pieces of the matt. And you can tell they are way thinker and nicer that OEM stuff. Just placed an order for the Front Liners. Still using the Version 1 rear seat matts.

I dunno, I'm very much in love with the digital fit weather techs.
