My question for Iceman5210, how'd you go about masking off the side silver trim on the car? I'm doing this soon and don't know a good way of masking off the trim.
I will post pics of the process since my first language is spanish lol ,glad you liked!

I waited for about 9 hours ... but to be safe you should wait at least 4 hour after your final coat. If you're just doing the rear badges, 2 hour after the final coat should be good enough. There's not much curing, as long as it becomes dry / ruberized, then you should be good.

I waited 20 - 30 minutes between each coats and applied 3 coats. So far, it's holding up well on my trunk badges. If you gonna do the front grill, you should add an extra coat or 2 just in case.

You have to be patient when you peeling. Prepare to use the razor to make some slices if it starts to pull on the part you want to stay.

Good luck

Hey guys, Im planning to do this TOMORROW (today)!! But I need your final advice.

The weather forecast shows 50 degrees F and showers (in NorCal). Therefore I'm planning to do this in my garage w/ garage door closed (may open a side door for ventilation). I will keep the can of plastidip in warm water if it's too cold. Ok...given these conditions, how long do I need to wait between coats and the final peel?

Everyone says 15 minutes or 30 minutes etc is good, but I imagie that's for higher temperatures. Any issues you see with my plan? I want to experience the magic! Thanks.

I would wait longer than 15-30 min maybe 45 to 55 but you will notice when is dry and getting even with that flat black look, g luck...

This only looks good if you have a light colored car. I have smokey granite mica and i dont think the black would look good on my car

Not necessarily. I have a SGM IS and a Magnetic Gray Prius. I tested plastidip on the Prius and I think it looks pretty good.

As you can see, I messed up the battery emblem on the bottom right but peeled it right off and fixed it.
