I am in the market for a new set of tires. I was checking local stores that carry tires that I need so I decided to call sam's club. They do sell high performance for my IS (Dunlop, Continental,Michellin, GoodYear, BFGoodrich) but they no longer carry the bridgestone name. When I asked them "why not", the sales associate stated that too many customers were complaining about how "quickly their tires were losing thread". The sales associate then told me that they would no longer contract tires from bridgestone anymore. He also said that this was just his store in particular and that he was not sure if all sam's club were taking suit, but he also insisted that they should.
