Default My remote radar detector install...what you think? ;)

Well...I just installed my Whistler Pro3450 remote radar detector. Here's my car and the pics of it. I don't like the look of radar detectors in the windshield...I like more of the clean look. No wires are showing anywhere, besides where the plugs come out to plug into my radar

Why do you need a radar detector for IS250?

Yeah, looks good. Mine is a remote laser radar detector. So you mount the monitor where you want, without sacrificing anything getting in the what actually sends out the signal to pick up the radar/laser.

Looks ok. I got a Escort 8500x in the upper windshield and have only one wire. You have three. I mounted my sensors in the lower cornet grille. Thinking about getting then Blend Mount (CL advertiser). Clips to the mirror post and hangs below the rear view mirror.

The biggest problem with all three is that you cannot hide it when caught.
I still use the window suction mount on my 9500ix and in one quick movement can drop it from my windshield to under my seat.

Trust me, if the officer was is a pretty good mood and thinking he may or may not give you a ticket as he walks to your car, seeing a detector guarantees he'll be asking for your autograph!

The last remote detector I had (different car) the head unit was mounted down about where the trunk and gas release are on the IS. Very nice inconspicuous location, especially when turned off.

So sad, I don't know what frequency of speed detectors that police use in my country.

I had bought Escort 8500 for use a period and it was not work. Nothing warn during use and result with bill sent to home. "_"
