yeah look like the organ AFS light flashing, look like it tried to tell you the afs malfunction or something? it happen when I lowered my car yesterday when I installed the rear sensor wrong way, and the "AFS OFF" light was flashing, and this morning I took the sensor off reinstalled correctly and it normal again I think it will happen the same thing when we install the new LED headlights, we sill see the organ "AFS OFF" light flashing it kind annoying when you look at it, but like someone else said you can unplug the bulb in the gauge cluter off, and you won't see the light any more I don't think the flashing light has to do anything to the car? not like CHECK ENGINE light on, that the one we have to worry

2006-2008 IS w/HID lamps: $400
2006-2008 IS w/o HID’s: $300
2009-2010 IS w/HID lamps: $500

How many would give up AFS for LED DRL? I'm not.

Well not as bad as we thought....... it could be worse..

Here is another question.

Do the Auto-Leveling up/down functions continue to work normally??

I tried turning OFF my AFS on my 09 IS250, then unplugged the AFS ECU and the AFS light remained on. The good news is this is exactly what you'd expect if the AFS computer was malfunctioning. The bad news with all this, I don't think we're able to find a work around for the AFS light being on.

For the core credit, we're finalizing the details now and should be posting something shortly.

Darrel,

Could these core credits be applied to previous year HID upgrades? I have a 2006 non-HID. Could I ship mine back to you for $300 off the 2006 HID's? Or any other year that fits the '06? The 2011's are nice but too rich for me.

Surprisingly the 2009-10 lamps are more expensive. The 06-08 lights however are just a couple hundred less. My thoughts are considering the addition of the LED the additional couple hundred dollars justifies itself.

Ok, I'm confused. We can take this to PM if we're getting off track, but the '06 HID is listed as $1359 and the '11 is listed as $2749.17 with the CL discounts.

...that's for just the replacement lamp assembly. There's still no computers, bulbs, wires or any of the other junk on it. The 2011 lights have everything included for a conversion, the other lights are just replacements to what you already have. I just took those lights, added the necessary and required parts and found the prices were virtually the same.

Suffice it to say, the 2011 lights are the same price as the other lights. The conversion however is different due to the number of add-ons.

Get it?

I have been considering it... Will have to find a way to get rid of that light first.

Next detailed question...

With the customized wire harness you will be providing..

How do you wire the LED's to turn ON??

Is it default ON with DRL Function?? or is it with one click ON the light stalk??

I remember with a 2011 in the showroom I was able to turn ON the LED's by turning on the Parking Lights with one click.
(no key present)

Reason I ask is for all of us that have the DRL's turned OFF..

Sewell, I'm confused. When the 2011 lights are installed, does the AFS light in the lower left corner stay lit or flash? I can live with it if it stays on. The flashing, though, would be a problem.
