I Wanna Paint My Rims...

I have an '06 MRM IS350 with Stock wheels, and I really want black rims, but I don't wanna go buy a new set of rims, cuz that's expensive.

What do you think about doing a flat black on the stock rims?

Can I do it myself or should I take it to a shop...

Opinions plz!

most likely ur gonna have to get them powdercoated. I was thinking about getting it done on mine but just thought to save up and but new rims instead. I say matte looks nice.

powder coat would be the way to go if you want durability. I did this on my motorcycle and it still looked new after 2 years when I sold it. Paint is too easy to chip/scratch when changing tires, road debris, ext.
