just grabbed myself another hybrid emblem deal for 20bucks of ebay. this one is from the gs450h and is slightly small. I bought it hoping it was the same size as the RX one and then it would fit well on my IS-F grille.

This gs450h one is much smaller and is actually the exactly size of our OEM is250 front emblems. So i have two options:

1) install it anyway and let the border be visible and leave the emblem looking like this:




2) or use the oem emblem as a surround to give the new emblem a chrome border as pictured below and make it fit the grille exactly.



If i go with the chrome surround option, this is how it would look:


Or without any surround this is how it would look (holes would have to be filled):


Or other option is to leave the stock IS-F emblem on there, and that looks like this:


Opinions wanted please.

I think the second pic makes it look like an 'O' and takes away from the L.

Your emblem almost looks like mine. Now I know what they meant when the guys asked if there's blue in there. Mine doesn't have the blue, just the solid clear plastic all the way across.
