OP: Before you go and redout your '09 tails, they will soon have the '11+ tails for sale, which are basically the same as '09-'10 except the orange part becomes clear. Looks much better than even redouts IMO - helps that "L" shape flow better.

i have a 2010 IS as well and i wanna know how the red out kit vinyl wraps around the corner of the orange lights
i know a person selling red out kits but he says his kit only does the orange part and leaves alone all the red areas
can the OP or someone post a pic of the 2010 kit before applying so i can see if the kit is done in parts or just one big red vinyl?

thanks!

care to let us know if your red out kit covers the ENTIRE side part of your lights? or does it only cover the orange signal lights? and is your piece of vinyl one big piece? of was it one big piece and one small piece that you have to apply separately to cover all the orange parts?

It comes in two pieces. A big piece to cover the entire face of the orange section. And a thin strip to cover around the side. I got mine from Aerotect which everyone around here gets theres from and says they're the best. But I wouldnt recommend them. The cut of them was way off to be so called computer cut. It looked more like a 3rd grader cut it or someone stoned. But anyway I made good with what I had.

thanks for replying bro! that was much help!

so just to clarify, the kit from aerotect only covers the orange part and does not cover any red parts of the light right?

Do the redouts! Picked up my 09/10 redout kit from Motogfx. They had the cheapest shipping. Here's the link:http://www.motogfx.com/lexus/
