Default BBS Replica Question

Ok I am kind of a newb, so please don't flame me. I was online and just looking around and found a set of BBS-LM's Replicas for a decent price. I also checked on a link I found on this site, and compared the two.

Here is what I found:

1. Wheeldude

Wheel Style - Linea Corse Lemans
Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 19"
Wheel Width (Inches) - 8.5F/10R"
PCD Bolt Pattern - 5x114.3
Offset - 38F/43Rmm
Hub Bore - 73mm
Color - Hyper Silver with Polished Lip
Quantity - 4 Pcs. (1 set)
Price:

$1,299.00

2. CL... 323 Motorsports

LM STYLE - [HYPER SILVER W. POLISH LIP]

AVAILABLE SIZE: FRONT 19X8.5 / REAR 19X9.5
PCD*H: 5-114.3MM
OFFSET: FRONT +35 / REAR +42
CENTER BOLT: 73
INCLUDED: CENTER CAP

$899 - $100 coupon I found online. Plus $500 with tires unknown what brand.

So the main difference is the rears are 9.5 and the offset, how do you guys feel about that? Also what size tires do you recommend? I have a 06 350 Sports Package with a full GFX kit, and DO NOT plan on lowering it at all. Anyone have pics of what I am looking to do?

Thank you very much.

I got the linea corse lemans ( bbs lm reps)

Im running that same set-up that you have listed.

Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 19"
Wheel Width (Inches) - 8.5F/10R"
PCD Bolt Pattern - 5x114.3
Offset - 38F/43Rmm
Hub Bore - 73mm

Don’t be stuck on the offset because you can always run spacers for a little more aggressive stance.
Wheel width wise I see no real difference. But then again I’m just speaking on my behalf.
I'll post some pictures when I can or I can email you my pictures.
I wrapped my lemans in falken 452 F 235 35 19 R 265 30 19 - this is for my daily driving..

I personally like the style of it,but always remember "you get what you pay for".
I bought the lemans and now im saving my cash for a Real set of bbs.

just my .2cents

Nothing is wrong with them…

Just base of my experience I would pay out a couple more hundred to get the original. The reason why I say that is because I had reliability issues. My rim cracked & bent… and cracked… and bent… but like I said nothing is wrong with them…

If you do more research you will find a lot of interesting facts and subjects about how certain companies make and build their rims.

There’s actual science and research behind it…

Again just my .2cents.

If i was to offer you a set of rims same offset, same size, and even the same price;

1. BBS LM or would you choose 2. Linea Corse Lemans...

which will you choose?...

So how do you feel about the wheel width being 1/2 inch smaller? Also it is not just a couple hundred bucks cheaper, it is a lot cheaper. All wheels can bends, crack, etc you have no way to predict that. Depends if it bugs you that they are real or not I guess. Also are you dumped or stock height? Post those pics up when you can, thank you!

I had a 911 Porsche previous to this car and I went with Miro Alt A rims 1 piece staggered with a lip for pretty cheap like 1100 total with tires. They seriously lasted me 3.5-4 years till I sold the car and never had anyone except 2 dudes call me out that they were a 1 piece rim. I am not trying to trick anyone, I just don't really want to spend that much money on rims. I was looking at I forged/dpe/bbs etc, but 3-5k on rims....I would rather buy a 2nd commuter car.

But ya my question was is the 2nd setup I have listed ok to run on the 350, and if anyone has the same set up I am looking to do, please post pics @ stock height.

Volk/SSR arent as xpensive as work/ame/weds and are considered very 'respectable' cuz after all~ in the car modding scene its all about respect and the JDM scene is not like euro scene, more ppl will know you're rolling on replicas than you think~ you may not care about respect or what others think BUT~ isn't it a nice warm feeling knowing that you're rolling on real deals? you gonna buy your gf/wife CZ earrings or knock off LV bags? why should you treat your 'other woman' any different?

the Porsche, audi, bmw, merc guys rock replica wheels all the time. and their cars cost way more then the lexus we drive.

i dont see a issue.

I dont see a problem either. Seein that most people like to trade their wheels out more often than not, they will constantly be losing money. Why not start a little less expensive and lose less money?

i've got the authentic BBS LM's.. and i wouldn't have it any other way. I don't see any problems with people getting the linea corse lemans as long as they don't slap a BBS center cap on them

Get the replicas if you want them. Real LMs are very expensive. I would guess in the neighborhood of 3-3.5 thousand MORE for 19" rims.

I found these recently, apparently they are floating around the nissan forum and its a new company called Forged Specialties. Are we allowed to link where I found the pics from a another forum? I just saved them onto my comp:

If I am allowed Ill link to the other forum, but I contacted the shop selling them and the pricing is real good and the 3 piece stuff. I fell in love.
