Will those Wheels Fit an IS250 AWD - Part Uno
#346
Hey guys,
Looking into buying a set of non-staggered 19's and needed some help from the CL community. Wheel specs are as follows:
Wheel Size: 19x8.5 +35 (all 4 corners)
Tire Size: 235/35/19 (all 4 corners)
Mine is a 2011 IS250 AWD, currently lowered on BC Coils lowered 1.5 inches (i think? ground to fender = 25.50 - 25.75')
Am I at risk of rubbing in the front? Not sure if it will be a flush fitment or not, and if fender work is required. I am looking to pick these wheels up tomorrow, so please let me know soon!!
Thanks in advance!

no need to roll fenders but the front fender tab would be your main problem
it wont be that flush but its close

I've found this article for bumper tab relocation, which is great, however it does not seem to be a permanent solution.

Picking them up tomorrow, I am hoping it will not just eat through my front tires lol. Here's a few photos of my front end as it currently sits; hoping this will provide a better idea if i need to roll/relocate bumper tabs or not:
Thanks in advance

Is it safe to assume I will not rub as much with a 225 in the front?

No need to worry, you'll be fine
When I ran 8.5 +30 with 235/35, its the fender liner that was ate through instead of the tires
I would say if you want to go more aggressive in the future, then go with tab relocation and roll.
But for now, relocating would be a good idea. But if you're planning to put some lowering springs, I'd say you can leave it alone as long as you can bare with the scraping sound between the tires and the tab every dip you hit (that's what I did at that time.... )

Yes with 225 you'll probably rub less. But your speedometer wouldn't be as accurate as in 235/35

As long as my current height will not require bumper tab relocation after installing 19's, I'll be satisfied

With the 235/35/19's on 19 by 8.5's (lowered on f sport springs and shocks) do i need to worry about rubbing at all?!

I cant see it rubbing at all except maybe in the front rear liner u might have to heat it up and push it in. You didn't say any crazy aggressive offsets so i think it sounds like you will be ok.

Let's try this again
Xxr 527
18x 8.75 20mm front or 35mm
18x 8.75 20mm rear or 35mm
Or same front size backs 18x9.75 20mm
Looking for a flush setup. Megan coil overs stock is250 brakes
Car is 2010 is250 awd and rolling diameter had to be close to same
Also tire thickness will be 35/40 as the roads in Chicago are extremely bad.

Yea I'm thinking the same as far as the sidewall goes. Someone on page 23 said they run a 20x8.5 with a 245/30/20 on roadmagnets with no issue. If thats true, I should be fine I'd think

After market wheels question
Just brought my is 250 awd n I was thinking of putting on 20" rims, can I run on 20/9's all around instead of staggered? Or do I have to go staggered..

There is less stress on the AWD system if you don't stagger the wheels. That said, if you want to get the same look (in terms of fitment) from front to rear, you will likely have to run staggered sizes. I believe this is because the rear fender arches are slightly wider than the front fender arches.
