Hey guys,

Looking into buying a set of non-staggered 19's and needed some help from the CL community. Wheel specs are as follows:

Wheel Size: 19x8.5 +35 (all 4 corners)
Tire Size: 235/35/19 (all 4 corners)

Mine is a 2011 IS250 AWD, currently lowered on BC Coils lowered 1.5 inches (i think? ground to fender = 25.50 - 25.75')

Am I at risk of rubbing in the front? Not sure if it will be a flush fitment or not, and if fender work is required. I am looking to pick these wheels up tomorrow, so please let me know soon!!

Thanks in advance!

I ran almost the same spec for a while and yes, the front will rub a bit
no need to roll fenders but the front fender tab would be your main problem
it wont be that flush but its close

Is it safe to assume I will not rub as much with a 225 in the front?

I've found this article for bumper tab relocation, which is great, however it does not seem to be a permanent solution.

Picking them up tomorrow, I am hoping it will not just eat through my front tires lol. Here's a few photos of my front end as it currently sits; hoping this will provide a better idea if i need to roll/relocate bumper tabs or not:

Yes with 225 you'll probably rub less. But your speedometer wouldn't be as accurate as in 235/35

No need to worry, you'll be fine
When I ran 8.5 +30 with 235/35, its the fender liner that was ate through instead of the tires
I would say if you want to go more aggressive in the future, then go with tab relocation and roll.

But for now, relocating would be a good idea. But if you're planning to put some lowering springs, I'd say you can leave it alone as long as you can bare with the scraping sound between the tires and the tab every dip you hit (that's what I did at that time.... )

Haha its currently on BC coils, but the roads here in Canada are.... brutal..... I want to lower it more, but with so many potholes on our roads its just easier to raise it up a bit

As long as my current height will not require bumper tab relocation after installing 19's, I'll be satisfied

I wanna run this exact same setup pretty well.. Except my 08 is250 will be on fsport springs and shocks by the end of this week, I'm running a 255 series tire right now to stay closer to spec but I'm gonna be switching to the 235 series i think..

With the 235/35/19's on 19 by 8.5's (lowered on f sport springs and shocks) do i need to worry about rubbing at all?!

I cant see it rubbing at all except maybe in the front rear liner u might have to heat it up and push it in. You didn't say any crazy aggressive offsets so i think it sounds like you will be ok.

Or same front size backs 18x9.75 20mm

Looking for a flush setup. Megan coil overs stock is250 brakes
Car is 2010 is250 awd and rolling diameter had to be close to same

Also tire thickness will be 35/40 as the roads in Chicago are extremely bad.

Bump...I got the wheels.20mm offset all around.18x8.75 front 9.75 rear.what tire size for a little stretch

Default PLEASE HELP: 18x8.5 35mm offset is250 awd

I am about to buy some rims for my is250 awd.
Will these fit?

18 x 8.5 35mm offset with 225/40/18 tires
(all around)

If i lower on f-sport springs, will they still fit?

Thanks!

getting some 20x8.5 +35 wheels and i'm lowered on H&R springs, what tires would you suggest

235/30/20, 235/35/20, or 245/30/20?

thanks!

I would go with the 30's to avoid fender mods... Its still gonna be close because I assume you've got a decent drop with h&r's. But im not sure.. Your rims may already be too big.

Yea I'm thinking the same as far as the sidewall goes. Someone on page 23 said they run a 20x8.5 with a 245/30/20 on roadmagnets with no issue. If thats true, I should be fine I'd think

Default After market wheels question

Just brought my is 250 awd n I was thinking of putting on 20" rims, can I run on 20/9's all around instead of staggered? Or do I have to go staggered..

There is less stress on the AWD system if you don't stagger the wheels. That said, if you want to get the same look (in terms of fitment) from front to rear, you will likely have to run staggered sizes. I believe this is because the rear fender arches are slightly wider than the front fender arches.
