just bought some winter tires to mount on the stock 07 AWD 17's. the closest size they made in the tire was 215/50/17. i know the overall circumference should be fine, i'm just worried about mounting the 215's on the 8" wheel. does anyone know if this is going to be an issue at all?

Here are my choices for wheels. I want to put tires on them and be able to do tire rotations back to front, so i think they need to be the same size all around. Whats my best option if I go with 18's or 19's in those regards.

I need some help.. I have read through the first couple pages but still have some questions. I just bought an 08 and it has 17 inch wheels. I found someone local selling the 18 inch stock wheel for like 250 (i think thats a good deal). I was wondering what tires i can put on them? I want to fill out the wheel well more but I don't want to lower the car and don't want to the speedo to be affected. Does anyone have any picture of stock suspension with the 18 inch wheels? I
Thanks

Could you explain more? It seems this would have been within spec of rotational diameter... Did they explain this staggered setup as the cause for your front diff and axel going???

Also, if I were to pick up a set of wheels that were 19x8 f and 19x8.5 rear, would it be more accurate to just run 235/35 tires all around on this setup since it is so little of a difference or would it still be better to run 225/35 f and 265/30 r ???
Please, any help will be much appreciated!

Hello,
Can someone tell me if these winter tires will fit my 07 Is250 awd. I am getting them w/wheels for free if they will work. Wheel bolt pattern is 114.3 x 5 50 mm offset. looking on sites it appears the wheels will fit. The tires are 215/55 r17. Will the tire height be too high and rub?
thanks

That works and are you looking for the stretched look or more of a beefy setup?? That will determine your tire size.
