Good luck with the paint job, post some pics when it's all done, I am sure it will look great in Red.

recommend using the G2 caliper paint and motogfx for the decal like everyone else. It was easy just don't rush and clean the surface thoroughly.

Painted mine black witht he white Lexus decal.

2006 IS250 Smokey Granite with 09 rims.

Being a little OCD about things like this. I couldnt seem to get over how 'less than smooth' the caliper is. From a distance and behind a wheel, sure, you cant tell but it bothers me that it's not a nice smooth finish (and i dont think it's just a crappy paint job by me). I'm not sure how much prepping one could or should do to the caliper if they wanted to. Also know that eventually you'll need to be painting it agian because spot will come off.
Unless it's a bright color (not my thing) a black color just kind of masks what would be a dirty caliper IMO. Especially on the 250 where the stock caliper is not all that noticeable depending on what wheel you have. I didnt even paint the back because with my wheels you can barely see it at all.
