Question xenon depot xtreme hid kit

hey guys, for those of you that have installed an xtreme hid kit from xenon depot-do you recommend the 5000k or 6500k bulbs? i want mainly the white with a slight hint of blue look. also, if if the bulbs that come with the kit burn out, could i replace them with garax 6000k or does the replacement bulb have to be an xtreme bulb also?? thanks in advance.

the 5000k would be the one for you, i have the 6500k and feel its too much blue for me, thinking of switching to 5k too.

you'll need H11 replacement bulbs. garax are D4S.

i have 6500k and i think it's the perfect colour. mostly white with some blue tint. it's not pure blue like you see on civics.

it looks pretty white on the road. here's my output.

Question

this might be a dumb question, but our IS's don't ever come with oem hid fog lights right? they're always halogen..?

The IS comes with halogen fog lights, as for the color of your low beams I would suggest 5000k as it does have some of that blue hint but is closer to the OEM color.

what parking lights would you guys recommend? i just have the volt 6k xenon depot kit for fogs and lows and i want everything to match.

i saw this, but like most people say, 6k still looks different if its from different companies.

Synetix250 - Given that the IS has OEM halogen projectors for the low beam I would go with either the Xtreme 4300k or Xtreme 5000k HID kits. Both kits will offer you a bright white output. The 5000k HID kit will have a slightly crisper output though.

Did you have any questions about fitments?

Steve

PS Thanks for the support guys! Glad to hear you are happy with our products :-)

No problem bud :-)

That is correct. You would just need to get the Xtreme HID kit. Our new style Xtreme kits come with a 3 year warranty.

In the U.S., they're always halogen. There are those JDM projector fogs (with LED cluster DRL's) out there, but they go for a cool $2k.

The one I recommend in that guide (the 13 SMT) should work well for you. Since the parking light is pretty dim compared to the HID lows, as long as the color is close (which it would be) it will blend well.

HI,

We ship via UPS from Windsor, Ontario (Canada). You are probably looking at around 5-7 business days. You will not incur any brokerage fees even though the shipment is coming from Canada.
