^^, Agreed modding slowly and carefully makes sense since it slows the outpouring of money, minimizes depreciation on the car, minimizes degradation in the attributes that Lexus carefully engineered.

The car I first modded I put a lot of money into. Made sure I did it right, did a lot of research and had the best people in the area do the jobs. Never had any problem with any of the changes. The car is running tip top and at its peak but let me tell you, the car is worth absolutely not a cent more to its unmodded counterpart, regardless of how well it performs.

These aren't necessarily all mods, but here are my top 3:
1. Getting a 250 instead of a 350
2. Getting Fsport springs (but I'm able to subdue the regret by remembering how matchy-matchy I am...until the next time I see my car )
3. Joining CL...because being on here puts massive dents in my checking account*

*ok, that's not really a regret. I like it here (mods, please don't ban me )

Huh. When I started this thread, I had NO mods to it, and no intentions of modding after seeing the regrets. What a difference a few months (and NorCal influences) make.

I regret buying the HID conversion kit from a crappy seller. I've had bad luck with my HIDs and that's the only problem I've been having with my car...I spent hundreds to replace, fix, & blah blah blah. Such a POS & a PITA

Yeah Phil, I wondered why you did it. One of the few with Brembo's. I don't regret anything when I see people check out my car and give me props. I appreciate peoples honesty.

I never modded and have no regrets. I did my fair share in the past with prior vehicles. If you don't like it as it is don't buy it.

^^^ LOL... dang. I'm glad I didn't get Konigs for my car.

Anyway, not a real regret... for me, my exhaust.

I love it... but wifey keeps nagging me that I ruined the car. Blah blah it's too noisy blah blah Lexus shouldn't sound like this blah blah

I'm glad I had gone with Tanabe otherwise she'll kick my *** if it was an F-Sport.
