balance tires
Hello,
I am about to go to local American Tires for new tires for my IS250 RWD. Since they are not rotatable, should I pay for balance for later visits. I know they charge me for rotate and balance for my wife Acura TL. Thanks.

If the compound is ZR rated I wouldn't bother. They would wear out quite fast, probably before you'd even need to be balanced. If you have a harder compound then I would consider cross rotating them. Meaning...dismount the tires, switch wheels. That way the outside of the tires is now on the inside of the OTHER wheel. And they are still staying directional.

balance only when you mount the tire. If your tire need balancing afterward, it is either problem in the tire internal structure or the suspension component (bushing or strut).
