Hello everyone. I've got some questions about spacers..I know nothing about them. I've got an 09 is250. I want it to be flush. How much are spacers, what brands are there, what size do I get for it to be flush (I've got 17s stock) do I need them for the front? Cuz I jst want it to look more aggressive from the rear. Thanks in advance.

You can do 15mm front and 20mm rear to get it flush. You might be able to get away with even 20mm front and 25 mm rear too if you want it to be really flush, but I ran 15mm front and 20mm rear for roughly 8k miles and spacers/wheels were fine.

I have a set of custom spacers. Look at the link above. It will be pretty flush pics in there too. Don't get the ichiban. I had them and felt slightly vibration. I don't know about the project kick. If you interested in my set lmk.

I should make a thread on how to measure for spacers since everyone is always asking. First off H&R are pretty much the best on the market, made in Germany. They are the most popular used on VW's, Audi, and BMW's. Im pretty sure I saw they make them for lexus on there website. You dont want to risk on a cheapo brand that will crack on you.

Now on now to measure. Make sure your car is on level ground. Take a piece of string and tie a bolt around one end. Now tape the top part of the string to the center of your fender allowing the nut to hang down. Take a ruler and measure from your tire to string. That is how many mm spacer you will need to be flush with the fender. Add more if you want some poke. Do the same for the rear as they sit in differently from the front

Thanks for the quick reply. How much would 4 spacers cost me? And what brands do you recommened? Also, do most people get spacers all around or just the rear?

yea size will matter. think on my VW my 8mm were $50 for the set and my 15mm were around $75 for the set. Got to H&R's website

Ok cool. One last question..what about installation? Is it easy so I can do it myself or do I have to have a shop do it?

You can do it yourself. It takes 20 minutes at most. Make sure you buy a tube of Anti-Seize lubricant to prevent corrosion on your studs. It's like $4 for a tube at Pepboys.

25mm front and rear. ichiba is a good company that has built in studs in the spacers so they're super easy to install
