Umm..sorry but wheeldude is nothing but a fake/copier People don't realize it but what if YOU designed something and how would YOU feel if someone replicated it and made money off of YOUR product?!

I thought I read somewhere that the LC818 was an original design. There are lots of mesh wheels that look similar to it, but I haven't found an exact match yet.

And yes, I do understand that the other wheels in the LC line-up are replicas.

It's a mesh wheel. They all look similar. But as far as mesh wheels go, these two really do not look much alike.

But really guys, more arguments about original/replica wheel designs? Many wheels look similar, some are made to be exact replicas. I haven't seen any wheel that the LC818s copied verbatim.

Are you going to call BMW a fake/copier too? Or Weds Sport? Or anyone else making a mesh wheel? I mean, someone must have made the original and everyone else must be a fraud.

This is a fact of doing any type of business - if someone can sell a similar product at a better value, they are going to get the sale.

In the oil and gas business, you might spend years and millions of dollars discovering a new play. None of that stops a competitor from swooping in, leasing land offsetting yours, and drilling a well that is now de-risked by your prior discoveries.

We refer to it as the free market, and the general consensus is that competition is good for the consumer.

You guys are silly.. Just to put my two cents in..
They are great wheels, looks as well as quality wise. For the price and quality your getting them for you can't complain. You can only go so far when it comes to designing wheels and I think LC did a great job doing that. You can call it a rep, you can call it original. Call it what you wanna call it, it looks pretty ******n sweet on our cars and if ya wanna hate. Hi Haters Keep on hatin

So does anyone know who originally designed this type of wheel for authenticity purposes?

I find it weird for a company makes replica wheels, and original designs. If they have creativity in doing original, why making replicas? :P
