wouldnt work.
is250 mt tranny is garbage(i own one) cant handle the torque of the 350 motor
and its not worth the headache.... its like kids trying to make their civics swim.. pointless and will cost too much on any degree to have completed.
if you want a good manual drivers car:
buy an M3.

And I will pull more ladies in my SC300 than your 250 and pull away from you each and every single time so what.
Everyone knows that auto's are faster than manuals but not everyone wants an automatic, some people like the clutch and like to shift gears. I like manuals too but not for a daily driven car. I think the OP likes the idea of a manual trans on the IS350 which was never an option.

Random question, but does anyone know if its possible to hook up the new Toyota/Lexus GR V6 engines with the old Getrag Supra 6 speed? I know it wouldn't be cheap to do such a conversion, but is it possible and has anyone thought about it?
There's a whole community of SC400 owners hooking up the V160 and even the 5-spd W58 to the old 1UZ V8's. I'd love to eventually get an IS350, but I hate the fact that it doesn't come in manual like a true sports car should. The fact that Lexus today doesn't have a single manual tranny car except that POS IS250 which is Corolla slow is what's keeping me from even considering getting a new Lexus.
