Default transporting queen-sized mattress

I know this is ghetto but I don't want to shell out $50+ to rent a van only for a few kms distance. And I definitely can't use my S2K

Anyway, has anyone safely transported a queen-sized mattress on top of their 2IS? This is just mattress, no box-spring.

TIA

One of your friends must have a truck. Don't risk it falling off the roof.

I am "that" guy with a F-150...you have to know someone with a truck, and a bribe of just a full tank of gas works for me

Just get a friend with a truck to help, buy him lunch or like someone else said give em gas money. Don't be that guy who leaves his mattress on the freeway lol

I cringe at the thought of a mattress on top of an IS... No friends? Co-workers? Neighbors? I'd say if it was life or death, it can probably be done. Just do it late at night so no one sees you doing it haha

Keep looking for a better way, based on all the good ideas (non-IS) above.

Find a chevy dealer in the range of the few kms.

ask the dealer for a test drive of one of their full size pickups
