Note that the shifter in the IS-F is -completely- different from the ones in the ISx50.

It's a -real- shifter, not just a top gear limiter... and could certainly be of a lot of value in a road course.

^^^^^^^is this a true statement ??^^^^^^^^^

Yes that is a true statement.

I do not know what the paddles are like in the original IS300, so I can't comment on that. The statement of "having control of shift points" implies that the paddles are, well, "shifters" and is an incorrect statement.

Upon reviewing some my.is posts regarding the IS300 paddles, I've determined that they are exactly the same as the IS350 paddles, and in all cases they are not shifters. It would appear that you may have been mistaken as to what the paddles on your IS300 actually do.

Why can't Lexus implement real shifter like in ISF to our cars? Even Infiniti G35 has real shifter.

Not a problem. Great choice with the ISF, I would have chose it myself given the phenomenal deal you are getting ($38k for an ISF is a steal). The ISF does indeed have real shifters so it is very trackable.

Agree. I was disappointed after reading the truth

Moral of the story: the truth hurts.
