Default My Solution To Quietest Exhaust

Hey guys and gals, just wanted to suggest my solution to people who do not want an actual aftermarket exhaust but want that aggressive look. I polished the muffler and welded tips onto the stock exhaust, nothing special. No power gain, no difference in noise, strictly just all for looks. Spent about $120 total and very happy with the results.

Very nice, tips. They look similar to the Tanabe. What are they?

Not really, I used an electric sander. The part that took some time and elbow grease was the back part where the tips are because the sander was too big to get in between the small surface.

Eliminates the pipe-within-a-pipe look of the stock tips. I like it.

No, both civics belong to my buddies. One is a black EX and one is a blue SI. Both cars look black in the picture though.

Your exhaust look like Tanabe now. Those mufflers are stock?

Everything is still stock except the tips that were welded on.

I didn't know stock muffler could be this shiny. Why don't they come with the car looking like this instead of all dirty?
